March Fishing And Covid 19

Report Date: March 30, 2020

Speechless is the best word I can use to begin this fishing report. Earlier this month we were running on all cylinders and fishing seemed to be heating up as we anticipated the hot spring bite. As all of you already know, all changed a couple of weeks ago as we went into quarantine. Since then calls for bookings came to a screeching halt and cancellations started pouring in. Right now, it looks like we will not enjoy peak season. Our marina has been ordered closed and we are basically land locked until things wind down.

On a positive note, we have been using the idle time to catch up on maintenance, tackle, etc. We have also been working on the YouTube channel adding new content so that people can keep entertained as well as learn some techniques. You can SUBSCRIBE to y the page using the link below. More videos will be added in the coming days/weeks.

Before the Corona virus outbreak we were catching some sailfish, kingfish, snapper, and assorted jacks. As of late very few boats have made it out and catches seem to be pretty good overall.

You can keep up with the latest developments by following us on FACEBOOK, Instagram, and Twitter. Hopefully, things will start to improve in the near future.

Finally, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the frontline workers dealing with this pandemic. Unfortunately, it has taken a tragedy for many to realize how important these individuals are to all of us.

We’ll that is pretty much it for right now. Hoping everyone can stay safe get through this unscathed. Together we can beat this and come back stronger than ever before.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Orlando Muniz
