Frequently Asked Questions About Our Fishing Charters
Is a deposit necessary?
Yes, a deposit is necessary in order to hold your date. Deposits can be via credit card or personal check.
Some boats guarantee fish, do you?
We all know that life comes with few guarantees and fishing is no exception. Some boats will use this deceptive claim in order to lure clients. What they don’t tell you, is what type of fish you’ll catch. (Bait fish count as part of your catch). No reputable operation will guarantee you any specific catch.
Do I need a fishing license?
No. We carry a vessel license that covers our passengers so that there is no need to purchase one. Be wary of operations that ask you to buy a license. This usually means they are not properly licensed.
How to pay for my trip?
Cash and credit cards accepted. Checks are accepted for deposits mailed at least one week prior to fishing.
What is the cost?
Rates vary depending on the particular trip chosen. Please check out our rates page or contact for additional information.
How many people can come along?
We can carry a maximum number of four passengers (adults and/or children).
What is the cancellation policy?
Trips are normally only cancelled due to extreme weather. Weather cancellations are made at the discretion of the captain. In the event of a weather cancellation 100% of the deposit amount will be refunded. Trips cancelled for any other reason must be cancelled at least (7) days prior to the trip or the deposit will be forfeited.
Can we do a split charter?
Unfortunately, we do not offer these trips. We feel that they are not in our clients best interest
Do I need to bring a cooler?
No. Coolers and ice is provided as part of your charter. Simply bring your food and drinks and we’ll ice them for you.
What about tipping?
Tips are greatly appreciated. Normal gratuity ranges from 10%-20% of the trip rate.
